About the role

The whole stack: React and Next.js on the front, Node and PostgreSQL behind it, and the REST APIs joining the two. You will sit between the design team and the database, which is the fastest way there is to find out what you actually enjoy building.

What you will be doing

• Design, develop and test web applications with experienced developers
• Work with the design team to build interfaces people can actually use
• Build and consume REST APIs against a PostgreSQL backend
• Troubleshoot technical issues and see the fix through to production
• Research emerging technologies and bring back what is worth using
• Take part in team meetings and deliver to agreed deadlines

Who can apply

• Available to work remotely for the full six months
• Able to start between 30 August and 4 October 2026
• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate programme
• Proficient in front-end fundamentals and genuinely interested in web development
• Familiarity with Git and with SQL databases is an advantage
