About the role

Work alongside Aeonaxy’s senior developers on the JavaScript side of their education products: new features, the tests that keep them honest, and the performance work that keeps pages fast. Part-time, so it fits around a semester.

What you will be doing

• Work with senior developers to design and implement new product features
• Write clean, maintainable JavaScript that the next person can read
• Test what you build and fix what the tests find
• Optimise pages for performance and responsiveness across devices
• Take part in code reviews — both receiving them and giving them
• Keep up with what is changing in the JavaScript ecosystem and bring it back to the team

Who can apply

• Available to work remotely for the full six months
• Able to start between 30 August and 4 October 2026
• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate programme
• Comfortable with JavaScript fundamentals, and with reading code you did not write
• Working knowledge of Git
