About the role

Designing AI features and getting them into a product that already exists, which is the harder half of the work and the half most courses skip. It sits close to the machine learning internship — take this one if you would rather ship the integration than tune the model, and that one if it is the other way round.

What you will be doing

• Help design and implement AI algorithms and models
• Work with the development team to fit AI into systems that already exist
• Research and analyse ways to improve how the AI performs
• Use the right data structures to keep algorithms computationally honest
• Code, test and debug AI applications
• Follow what is advancing in the field and bring it into the team’s thinking

Who can apply

• Available to work remotely for the full six months
• Able to start between 30 August and 4 October 2026
• Enrolled in a computer science, engineering or related programme
• Proficient in Python, Java or C++
• Familiar with TensorFlow, PyTorch or scikit-learn
• Clear on machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures and neural networks
