About the role

The one opening here that is not an engineering seat, and the joint-largest intake. You will run the parts of hiring that actually move — posting openings, reading resumes, booking interviews — and get new joiners through a first week that makes sense. The work is administrative in the way that all HR work is administrative: done badly nobody notices, done well the whole company runs quieter.

What you will be doing

• Assist with recruitment: posting openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews
• Take new hires through onboarding, from the orientation session to the paperwork
• Keep employee records and the HR database current
• Support employee engagement work, and the conflict resolution that occasionally follows
• Contribute to HR projects aimed at improving the processes and policies themselves

Who can apply

• Available to work remotely for the full six months
• Able to start between 30 August and 4 October 2026
• Reading for a degree in human resources, business administration or something adjacent
• Organised, and able to hold a confidence — you will see things that are not yours to repeat
• Comfortable in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
